What areas of my property can you illuminate?
We can light gutterlines, rooflines, ridgelines, columns, shrubs, garage doors, pathways, driveways, mulch beds, trees, and entryways. We can also add wreaths and garland to create a complete Christmas display.

What colors and lighting patterns do you offer?
We offer warm white, multicolor, candy cane patterns, and many other color combinations.
A favorite with kids is our “Frozen” pattern, featuring blue, teal, and cool white lights for a beautiful icy Christmas look.
Warm white continues to be our most popular choice, but we can customize your display with colors and patterns that fit the look you want for your home.
Can I change my bulb colors from year to year?
Yes. You can change your bulb colors or pattern from one Christmas season to the next.
If you want to change from warm white to multicolor, try our Frozen pattern, or create an entirely different color combination, we can change the bulbs to give your home a fresh look for the new season.
Do I have to choose one of your Christmas lighting packages?
No. Every All Lit Up display is customized.
You can mix and match roofline lighting, trees, shrubs, wreaths, garland, stake lighting, and other features to create the Christmas display you want. You are always in control of what is included.
What type of Christmas lights do you use?
We use high-quality, professional-grade LED Christmas lights that are custom-cut to fit your property.
Our lights are energy-efficient, durable, and designed to withstand outdoor winter conditions while creating the clean, professional appearance you expect from All Lit Up.

Do I own the Christmas lights after they are installed?
No. The Christmas lights are leased to you as part of our full-service Christmas lighting program.
That allows us to handle the maintenance, repairs, takedown, and storage for you. Best of all, you never have to climb a ladder, get on your roof, untangle lights, or figure out where to store everything after Christmas.
PRICING & PAYMENT
How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?
Every home and Christmas display is different, so there is no single price.
Pricing depends on factors such as the size and shape of your property, the amount of lighting you choose, installation difficulty, access to the property, and the features included in your design.
For the 2026 Christmas season, basic residential packages generally start between $595 and $995, depending in part on the size of the home and the distance from our Lynchburg office. Our average residential Christmas lighting project is approximately $1,850.
We have designed everything from simple roofline displays to large, elaborate residential and commercial Christmas installations.
One of our Lighting Elf designers will meet with you to talk about the look you want and which areas of your property you would like decorated. We then create a rendering showing you what your home will look like with Christmas lights. Then we customize your proposal, so you know exactly what your display will cost before you approve the project.
How does payment work, and what forms of payment do you accept?
A 25% deposit is required when you approve your Christmas lighting project. Your deposit reserves your place on our installation schedule.
The remaining balance is due on the day your lights are installed.
We accept cash, check, debit cards, and credit cards.
SCHEDULING & INSTALLATION
When should I schedule my Christmas light installation?
As early as possible.
Our Christmas installations run from October through December, and the most desirable installation dates fill quickly.
We schedule installations in the order customers book. If we install your lights early in the season, we can leave the timer turned off so your display is completely ready whenever you decide it is time to start celebrating Christmas.
Can I still get on this year's Christmas lighting schedule?
Usually, but it depends on how full our installation calendar is when you contact us.
The earlier you reserve your installation, the more dates you will have available to choose from. As Christmas approaches, our schedule can fill very quickly.
Do I need to be home when you install my Christmas lights?
Usually not.
As long as our team has access to the property and an exterior electrical outlet, you generally do not need to be home during installation.
We do ask that vehicles and other obstacles be moved when necessary so our crews have safe access to your home with ladders and equipment.
How long does Christmas light installation take?
Simple ranch-style homes can sometimes be completed in only a couple of hours.
Larger homes, complicated rooflines, tree wrapping, landscape lighting, and more elaborate displays will take longer.
Once we design your display, we can give you a better idea of how much installation time your particular project will require.
SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION
Will the clips or Christmas lights damage my roof?
Our roofline and gutter lights are installed using professional lighting clips rather than nails or staples.
This allows us to securely install the lights while avoiding unnecessary holes or punctures in your roof, gutters, and exterior surfaces.
Are your Christmas light installers insured?
Yes.
All Lit Up carries $2 million in liability insurance, and every employee is covered by workers’ compensation insurance.
Our installers are trained to safely work with ladders, roofs, electrical connections, and professional Christmas lighting equipment.
We believe this is simply the right way to do business and gives homeowners additional peace of mind.
Is professional Christmas light installation safer than doing it myself?
Yes. Professional installation eliminates the need for you to climb ladders, walk steep rooflines, or work with electrical connections outdoors.
Our crews use professional equipment and proper installation techniques to securely install your Christmas display while you stay safely on the ground and enjoy the season.
MAINTENANCE, TAKEDOWN & STORAGE
What happens if a bulb goes out or something stops working?
Season-long maintenance is included with your All Lit Up Christmas display.
If a bulb, strand, or another part of your display develops a problem, contact us and our Lighting Elves will return to troubleshoot and repair it.
Our goal is to handle normal service issues within 48 hours. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day we do not run service calls to that our elves can be home with their families.
Is your Christmas lighting work guaranteed?
Our goal is complete customer satisfaction.
Outdoor Christmas lighting is exposed to wind, rain, storms, and other conditions throughout the season. If a normal lighting problem develops, our professional team will return and work to correct it as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Maintenance for normal lighting issues is included throughout the Christmas season.
Damage caused by circumstances outside the installation, such as a pet chewing through wiring or a vehicle driving over stake lights, can also be repaired, although an additional service charge may apply.
Do you take down and store the Christmas lights?
Yes. Takedown and storage are both part of our full-service Christmas lighting program.
Beginning in January, our crews return to professionally remove your display. We carefully pack your Christmas lights and store them in our warehouse until the following Christmas season.
You don’t have to climb a ladder, take anything down, or fill your attic, basement, or garage with boxes of Christmas lights.
We have a few customers who want to keep their lights up until later in the winter, this can be done for a nominal fee.

Yes.
All Lit Up provides professional commercial Christmas lighting for shopping centers, office buildings, restaurants, churches, retail locations, car dealerships, HOAs, and many other commercial and community properties.
We can create a customized display designed to make your property stand out and create a festive Christmas experience for customers, employees, residents, and visitors.
Do you provide Christmas lighting for HOAs and communities?
Yes.
We work with HOAs, neighborhoods, and community properties to create custom Christmas lighting displays.
Projects can include entrances, monuments, common areas, trees, landscaping, buildings, clubhouses, and other areas that help create a beautiful and welcoming Christmas atmosphere throughout the community.
PERMANENT LIGHTING
Do you offer permanent lighting options?
Yes.
All Lit Up installs Omni permanent, app-controlled lighting designed for year-round use.
The system gives you access to more than one million colors, patterns, movement, and special effects right from an easy-to-use app on your phone. You can even program the lights to move with music.
When the lights aren’t being used, the system blends discreetly into your home. When you want them, you can create displays for Christmas, Halloween, July 4th, birthdays, game days, special occasions, or simply use beautiful accent lighting year-round.
Do you install permanent lighting during the Christmas season?
Yes, but availability becomes very limited.
Because our crews are extremely busy installing traditional Christmas lighting from October through mid-December, we only schedule a limited number of permanent lighting installations during the Christmas season.
If you would like permanent lights installed in time to enjoy them for Christmas, contact us as early as possible.
