Riverfront Park

Located on Fort Avenue, this fenced neighborhood park is an excellent place for families to picnic or play basketball. A small tributary of Blackwater Creek runs through the center of the park, and large trees provide shade.

During the holidays, enjoy the annual Tacky Lights Tour hosted by Lynchburg Parks and Recreation. The tour includes a bus ride and stops at homes decorated with festive lights. KWLS has provided design services for several infrastructural projects within the Riverfront Downtown area, including rain gardens, a zero-depth fountain, boardwalks and benches, new shade trees, and the redevelopment of nearby streets.
